# Subscribe to the Brief

Twice a month. New openings, events, changes worth knowing about, and the guides we've updated. It takes about two minutes to read, which is the entire point.

## New openings

Restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels and businesses worth knowing about — with the address and enough detail to decide whether to bother.

## What has changed

Transport and airport updates, immigration procedure changes, closures, roadworks and anything else that affects daily life here.

## What's on

Festivals, markets, exhibitions and one-off events, with confirmed dates rather than "sometime in November".

## Guides worth your time

New and freshly-updated guides from our library, plus the occasional older piece that's suddenly relevant again.

Check your inbox: the next Brief goes out within a fortnight.

## What we won't do

We won't email you weekly, we won't sell your address, and we won't pad the newsletter with affiliate links dressed up as recommendations. If a fortnight passes and nothing genuinely worth sending has happened, we'd rather send a short issue than a long one.

If you'd rather browse than subscribe, everything we publish is free on the site — start with the
